Cleaning activities at Fukushima

Mr. Naomi Hirose, current Vice-President of TEPCO Holdings and President & CEO of TEPCO rigth after the Great East-Japan Earthquake occurred and Fukushima accident developed after the tsunami, offered an extremely interesting and brilliant lecture on “Leading after a nuclear accident” at POLIMI on Feb. 6, 2020.

The seminar was organised by the Dept. of Management (PhD course on “Project Management in Action”, prof. Mauro Mancini) and by the Dept. of Energy (Nuclear Reactors Group).

Mr. Hirose (B.A., Hitotsubashi University, M.B.A., Yale University, School of Management) is Vice Chairman of TEPCO Holdings. He joined TEPCO in 1976, then covered several positions inside the Company, up to becoming President and CEO of TEPCO during the period 2012-2016.
