ELSMOR project launched!
On September 4-5, at the premises of finnish VTT research center in Espoo (Helsinki), the kick-off meeting of the ELSMOR project (funded by Euratom) took place.
More than 30 members attended the meeting, from France (EdF, TechnicAtome, Framatome, IRSN, CEA), Germany (GRS), Finland (VTT, Fortum), Ukraine (Energorisk), EU (JRC-Petten) and Italy (CIRTEN-POLIMI, SIET, ENEA).
ELSMOR (“Towards European Licencing of Small Modular Reactors”) will investigate the key safety features of the SMRs, with a special focus on the new French SMR project.
