Dr. Willem Janssens, Head of Department “Nuclear Security and Safeguards” at EU-JRC in Ispra (Italy) and President of ESARDA (European SAfeguards Research & Development Association), the largest international organization in that field, offered a webinar on “Nuclear Safeguards Non Proliferation & History and Evolution” at POLIMI on Dec. 11, 2020.
An introductory overview about a critical aspect of nuclear, usually not duly addressed in Nuclear Engineering Courses.
The present seminar was organised within the “Introduction to Nuclear Engineering” course.
A second, more specific seminar will be offered by William on 2021, within the “Passion in Action” initiative.
