Nuclear Project Management short-courses

The NRGroup / Department of Energy designed, with the Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering and the MIP-Business School of Politecnico di Milano, Short Courses on “Nuclear Project Management”.

The first edition (2017) was attended by professionals from several Countries.

The second edition (2018) was organised in collaboration with BCCC-ROSATOM for russian professionals, on the topics:

– Nuclear Project Management

– Nuclear Cost Engineering

– Nuclear Project Control System

Two experts collaborated with prof. Marco Ricotti in designing, lecturing and organising the short-courses:

Ing. Oscar Agostino MIGNONE

Expert in Nuclear Power Plant development, construction, and operational modernization. 40+ Years of experience covering management and technical roles in large organizations (Italian Utility Enel, Atomic Energy of Canada, Italian Company Ansaldo, Argentinean Commission of Atomic Energy), with international nuclear experience in several countries.
Italian-Argentinean, holds a master in electromechanical engineering and a post-grade in nuclear engineering, lecturer in international conferences, qualified expert for IAEA cooperation missions, contributor for international nuclear technology publication.

 

prof. Mauro MANCINI

Professor at the Dept. of Management, Economics and industrial Engineering, teaches Industrial Plants and Project Management and managerial topics also at MIP, the Business School of Politecnico di Milano, in different Master Programs (Master in Strategic Project Management European, Master in Business Administration, etc.). He is the dean of the Master in Nuclear Plant Construction Management and of the European Master in Strategic Project Management (jointly developed by Politecnico di Milano, Heriott Watt – UK, Umea – Sweden).
He has trained senior project managers of Engineering and Contracting companies, (Techint, Saipem, Tenova, Ansaldo Energia, Aermacchi, Agusta, ENEL, ENI, ABB, etc.). Since 2012 he is Chair of the Construction Chapter of ANIMP (Associazione Nazionale Impiantistica Italiana), an industrial Italian association that gathers all the Main Contractors and Manufacturers of the Engineering and Contracting Sector.
