Trino Nuclear Power Plant (ITA), 2019
Nov. 2019 – 70 students of the “Introduction to Nuclear Engineering” course visited the “Enrico Fermi” Nuclear Power Plant (PWR) at Trino.
The nuclear power station is under decommissioning by SOGIN. The tour inside the plant allowed to visit the containment (operating deck), some of the main primary system components, the control room, the radwaste monitoring station and the radwaste storage buildings.
Beside the tour, SOGIN offered also a seminar on the decommissioning process of the reactor. The presentation will be posted soon HERE.
