Day 1: Working Groups activities

Working Group 1 SMR safety – discussion

Working Group 2 SMR dimensioning – calculation

Working Group 3 SMR passive system – solving procedure

Learning objective

To approach the Small Modular Reactor technology in a holistic way. The focus will be on Light Water SMRs, the most early-deployable technology.

Lectures will be offered by international experts. A live Q&A and discussion session with the floor will conclude each seminar. The modelling of experimental data will be the challenge for the Working Groups.

Target classroom

MSc and PhD students, young researchers, in the broad field of nuclear sciences, engineering and technologies.
